The Campus Renewal program is bringing new life to well-loved spaces. Take a tour of Schneider and peek into the new home of the provost and a renovated classroom in Green Hall.
Incipit Vita Nova. Over the decades, Schneider has been a music hall and a student center. Now it begins new life as a center for student services.
The outside of the building will be recognizable to alumnae. But inside….
Schneider fries and orange plastic are out! Bright, airy spaces are in.
Students coming to visit the registrar, class deans, student financial services, and other offices are welcomed at the front desk.
Historic details were carefully preserved.
The old Molly’s Pub is now a meeting space. During the renovation, a historic fireplace was uncovered.

The College purchased the house at 99 Pond Road, along with 10 acres of lakeside property, in 2010 to preserve the landscape bordering the main campus.
The 1730 house, which was just renovated, will be home to the provost.
College functions will also be hosted here, once rooms are fully furnished.
Phase I of renovations in Founders and Green was completed this past summer, updating classrooms, improving accessablity, and creating new faculty offices.
