Kristine Meader ’21, a postbaccalaureate fellow with Wellesley’s Paulson Ecology of Place Initiative, enjoyed Friday morning campus bird walks this fall. She saw (and heard) lots of species, including cardinal, black-capped chickadee, tufted titmouse, American robin, gray catbird, downy woodpecker, pileated woodpecker, yellow-bellied sapsucker, Northern flicker, Cooper’s hawk, and red-tailed hawk. Group bird-watching walks have resumed for the spring semester.
