A new commemorative book, Now & Ever: 150 Years of Making a Difference, offers a compelling look at Wellesley College’s history and the trailblazing alumnae and faculty who have shaped the world. Edited by Wellesley magazine editor Lisa Scanlon Mogolov ’99, the book features photographs, documents, and artifacts from the College Archives, bringing to life key moments from Wellesley’s founding to its role today as a global leader in women’s education.

Structured around five areas of influence—public service and advocacy; science, medicine, and the environment; arts and culture; business, economics, and entrepreneurship; and academia and education—the book highlights the accomplishments of Wellesley alumnae and faculty who have driven change in their fields. Each chapter opens with reflections from distinguished alumnae and College leaders, offering insights into Wellesley’s lasting impact.
The book also explores pivotal moments in the College’s evolution, from early milestones to challenges and transformations. Throughout, Now & Ever reflects the Wellesley community’s enduring commitment to the College’s motto: Non Ministrari sed Ministrare. “My hope is that alums reading this book will enjoy learning about members of our community they might not have heard of,” says Mogolov. “It is remarkable how the College and its graduates have changed the world for the better, in so many ways.”
Now & Ever is available for purchase in the Wellesley College Bookstore and online at bkstr.com/wellesleystore.
