More than 220 alumnae gathered on March 26 at the Women Leading the Way event at the Lincoln Center to celebrate the College’s 150th. They connected with each other, heard from President Paula A. Johnson on how Wellesley prepares students to be informed and ethical leaders, and took inspiration from panelists Ophelia Dahl DS ’94, Pamela A. Melroy ’83, and Mfoniso Udofia ’06, led in conversation by Joey Cole ’99. “All of us talk about it a little bit differently,” said Melroy, “but [I] had so much confidence when I left [Wellesley] that I could learn anything. But even more than that, the feeling that I deserved to learn anything.”
