Commencement 2016
The red class of 2016 gathered on Friday, May 27, to celebrate the College’s 138th commencement. The assembled faculty, staff, parents, and friends applauded outgoing President H. Kim Bottomly for her years of service. Students cheered and waved checkered racing flags to greet speaker Lulu Chow Wang ’66, a vintage racecar aficionado as well as a world leader in finance and philanthropy. Special guest Oprah Winfrey was on hand to recognize a graduating student from her Leadership Academy. Diplomas were awarded, families were thanked, a few tears were shed. It was a beautiful day!
