Robin Marshall of Library and Technology Services took home the Alumnae Association’s Faculty-Staff Service Award for 2020. As the key contact in LTS for alumnae group website support, Marshall has been a valuable partner to the WCAA. She has built relationships with alumnae volunteers from the classes of the 1950s to recent graduates, helping them maintain their websites and send email communications. Marshall has provided instruction and assistance, adapting to all levels of technical skill.
Based on her depth of understanding of platform features and volunteer web administrator needs, Marshall partnered with the WCAA to identify a new vendor and implement a system that will support greater independence in alumnae communications and connections. Over the past year, Marshall, an information technology business analyst, facilitated the migration of 140 sites to a new web platform. Working tirelessly to move site content during the peak months of the project, Marshall dedicated countless nights and weekends to meet the necessary timelines with the resources available.
“Marshall has been an ambassador for Wellesley to our key alumnae volunteers and has had a significant impact on our ability to fulfill the mission of the Wellesley College Alumnae Association,” said WCAA Executive Director Kathryn Harvey Mackintosh ’03 in presenting the award.
